A Real conversation, happened just 10 minutes ago, in the car after picking my nephew up from school:

MyNineYrOldNephew: AJ, if I were allowed to vote guess who I would vote for?
MeOhMy: I don't know.
MyNineYrOldNephew: OOOBBAAAMMMMAAAAAA!
MeOhMy: That's cool.
MyNineYrOldNephew: Yeah, I don't like McCain, I think he is old, and stupid.
MeOhMy: haha, Yeah, You're probably right.
MyNineYrOldNephew: But Sara Palin is hot. I'd let her be my girlfriend, I liker glasses and bangs.

Maybe my nephew is smarter than I give him credit for.

I found-

My old box of earrings. It's pretty wild to see my transition of earrings, back when I wore them.

The West Wing

"44 people were killed a couple of hours ago at Kennison State University. Three swimmers from the men's team were killed and two others are in critical condition. When, after having heard the explosion from their practice facility, they ran into the fire to help get people out. Ran into the fire. The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels tonight. They're our students and our teachers and our parents and our friends. The streets of heaven are too crowded with angels, but every time we think we have measured our capacity to meet a challenge, we look up and we're reminded that that capacity may well be limitless. this is a time for American heroes. We will do what is hard We will achieve what is great. This is a time for American heroes and we reach for the stars. God bless their memory, God bless you and God bless the United State of America. Thank you."

~Jed Bartlet (Martin Sheen)

I think this was probably the most beautiful monologue I have ever heard, from any TV show, movie, a stage show.

Good Job Team TWW.

Isn't it-

-too early for Christmas decorations? This is what greeted me today when I went to Wal-Mart.

I think anytime before Thanksgiving is too early, but I deal with it. Before Halloween? I'm sorry. Too early. When will it be next year? Mid-March?

Can we talk about-

...how random my Linguistics class was today?

The whole day craziness started when she tried to explain to the class what "Emo" is, and compared it to the Romantic poets of the Renaissance era, only opposite. She stopped and said, "Oh, I hope I'm offending any Emo people any here. If I am, oh well. I guess you're used to it at this point."

She mentioned that she gets some of her lecture points from Wikipedia, and then used a reference from The Office, saying "Hey, beer me that beer!"

After falling down for no reason, she continued her lecture on the floor for a few minutes, spurting off acronyms, brb, ttyl, g2g, lol, etc etc.

I just couldn't handle it. It was the funniest class of my life.
